I love eyeshadow and as I got older, more and more brands irritated my eyes. My favorite, Urban Decay, really started irritating my eyes after becoming pregnant. I was hoping after my little human came into the world, it would get better. It got worse. I’ve tried many different brands from very inexpensive to very expensive; ELF, Cover Girl, Revlon, Urban Decay, Two Faced, Sephora, Elizabeth Arden, to name a few… I have a shoebox of eyeshadows crying out to be worn, which will never see the light of day.
Then one day, these beautiful colors, Ocean, Siren and Coral [Mermaids Dreams II] appeared on my Facebook page and I fell in love. Having wanted to try this eyeshadow out anyway, it was almost like they had my name written all over them. How could I say no?!?
I placed my order and eagerly awaited their arrival. And 100% honest truth, they were even better than expected. Firstly, the colors look as vibrant on my skin as they do in the pictures. Secondly, they are almost exact matches to my favorite Urban Decay colors, Mary Jane [Ocean], Green Goddess [Siren] and Last Call [Coral – lighter but a beautiful pink nevertheless] … which is probably subconsciously why I was drawn to them.
I have had no irritation while wearing this eyeshadow or after taking it off. I am so thrilled that I don’t have to wear my glasses to hide my puffy bloodshot eyes or swollen eyelids. I fell asleep wearing it, a 6 month old will do that to a person, had absolutely no irritation and the color still looked fantastic.
I’m not usually one for foundation. With freckles, a lot of the time I end up looking blotchy. This foundation went on so smoothly and it was so light, my freckles showed through, yet it covered up the redness in my cheeks. I didn’t feel like I had anything on!

The foundation from Half Pint Minerals is absolutely the best I’ve ever used and it lasts forever! The foundation gives really great coverage and you can build it up for when you need more. It is also perfect for when I don’t have time to do my makeup, I’ll just brush on this powder and it covers well and stays put all day. The porcelain foundation is actually my skin color. Which for me is a huge deal! I thought the bronzer would be a bit more orangey, I was pleasantly surprised that the color worked though. Half Pint is the only makeup I use now – I can’t wait for mascara! It looks natural, it’s light, and it doesn’t mess up my skin. The only powder I have ever been able to wear. I don’t know how you do it but it’s amazing makeup! -M.D.
Love this product. I’m very fair skinned and most powders look like I have dirt on my face. Even went to Sephora spent way to much money and I still looked ucky. HOWEVER. Bought the foundation (light) and it goes on smooth and and best of all it covers but does not look like I have something smeared on my face. Also the Sunkissed gives my face a bit of color and shine.. SO glad I found you… -C.K.
I really love my Half Pint Minerals makeup. It goes on easy. It comes off easy. It does not irritate my skin, and I have sensitive skin. I love that I can get shades that are not over bearing and give my skin a natural glow. In fact, I have never before found a foundation and blush combination that covers my face evenly and so easily! I was a little concerned about wearing the glittery makeup, but even it still looks professional and gives me a little something extra. I also like that the owner strives to make this makeup affordable and reasonably priced. There are so many things to like about this makeup! -E.W.
